The Canada goose resembles a goose, is 1 m tall and weighs up to 5 kg. It has a long neck with white cheeks, a gray-brown body with a white breast and a white rump.

The Canada goose is an exotic goose, native from North America and has been present in the United Kingdom since the 17th century. The country is now home to half of the European population, which lives in 17 countries! The population of this species is still increasing.
This invasive alien species, which is dependent on wetlands, can be found in urban green spaces, where it implicates many negative ecological effects, health risks and other nuisances.
